René Varga

Vice President, Engineering

René is a Vice President at DRC and is responsible for daily project management along with ensuring client satisfaction. He provides direction and guidance for his design team along with his mentorship. He also prepares monthly client invoicing.

He has over 37 years of experience in the public and private design and construction industry, with projects including public roads and infrastructure, along with private retail, industrial and residential (single & multi-family) projects. Before joining DRC, René worked with Sam Peterson & Associates, Hall & Foreman and Huitt-Zollars where he developed his experience in project design, construction management and delivery.

René attended the University of Northern Colorado, Metropolitan State College and the Denver Institute of Technology. He was born in New York, and was raised on Colorado, and has resided in California since 1987 and enjoys traveling, golf, skiing and tennis. His most recent trips were to the Bahamas, Miami and New Orleans and he sometimes incorporates a James Bond theme visit if the destination was featured in a movie.
